What We Believe

Being a Christ Centered Community of Prayerful Disciples Making Disciples

We are a non denominational church that tries to stay as close to Scripture as possible. We are dedicated to keeping our community centered around God’s Word and the Truth of the Gospel. As we proclaim these truths, they help us to know and Love the God we serve.

The Bible is God’s Word to all the people. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. Because it was inspired by God, the Bible is Truth without any mixture of error and is completely relevant to our daily lives, and that they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life. Deuteronomy 4:1-2; Psalms 119:11, 89, 105; Proverbs 30:5; Isaiah 40:8; Matthew 22:29; John 5:39; 16:13-15; 17:17; Romans 15:4, 16:25-26; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; Hebrews 1:1-2; 4:12; 1 Peter 1:25;
God has existed in relationship with himself for all eternity. He exists as one substance in three persons: The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. Although each member of the Trinity serves different functions, they each possess equal power and authority.
1 John 5:7; Genesis 1:26; Deut 6:4; Matthew 28:19, 3:16-17; Luke 1:35; Isaiah 9:6; Hebrews 3:7-11
We believe that Jesus Christ was born by the power of the Holy Spirit to a virgin, Mary and that he became completely human  without ever ceasing to be God. We believe that Jesus Christ lived a perfect, sinless life and that He willingly gave His own life as the only acceptable sacrifice for all who repent and call upon Him as Savior. We believe that Jesus Christ was crucified, died, buried in a tomb, and resurrected according to the Scriptures. We believe that faith in Jesus ChristHis sovereignty, death, and resurrectionis the only way one can be saved.
Luke 1:34-35; Rom 10:9-13; 1 Cor 15:1-20
We believe that God created everything that existsーthe heavens, the earth, and all living things. We believe that all human beings, except for Jesus Christ, are sinners and that the just penalty for sin is eternal separation from God.
Gen 1; Rom 3:23; Rom 6:23a
We believe that all have sinned  and that the wages of sin is eternal separation from God. We believe that God, in His infinite grace and mercy, forgives those who repent, place their sincere faith in Jesus Christ, and follow Him as Lord of their lives. God adopts the genuinely repentant as sons and daughters, and He grants them eternal life. Authentic faith in Jesus ChristーHis sovereignty, death, and resurrectionーis the only way one can be saved. Rom 3:23; Rom 6:23a; Jn 3:16; Rom 10:9-13 and 6:23b; Jn 1:12-13; Rom 8:14-17; Gal 4:4-5; Eph 1:5; Jn 14:6
We believe that all Christians (those who have received Jesus Christ by faith) are called into discipleship and holy living. Both require pursuit of God’s word and will. Christians are to live lives that demonstrate God’s love so that others may praise God.The Christian Life is one of joy, peace, hope, love, patience, kindness, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, self-control, thanksgiving, praise, worship, freedom, and glad submission to Jesus Christ.
Phil 1:9; 1 Pet 1:15-16; Gal 5:16; Matt 5:16; Gal 2:22-23; Phil 1:9-11
We believe that the church, the body of Christ, is made up of all who truly believe and have been born again of the Spirit. We believe that the local church is an assembly of professing, baptized Believers in Jesus Christ who joined together for the purpose of carrying out the Great Commission. We believe that the local church is a self-governing body of believers who are under the authority of the Word of God  and of Jesus Christ as the head of the Church. Rom 12:5; Eph 4:4-6; 1 Cor 12:12-13; Jn 3:3-5; Matt 28:19; 2 Tim 3:16; Eph 1:22
We believe that Jesus Christ is coming backーdescending on clouds to gather His believers.
Matt 24:30
We believe in the bodily resurrection, eternal life for those who have repented of their sins and made Jesus the Lord of their lives, and eternal separation from God for all who reject Jesus Christ as the only Lord and Savior.
2 Cor 4:14; Rev 20:11-15
We believe that the water baptism by immersion is an ordinance to be observed by Believers in obedience to the Lord’s command. We believe baptism is a public proclamation of our faith in the crucified, buried, and Risen Savior, Jesus Christ, symbolizing our debt to send in our Resurrection to New Life that occurred when we believed in Christ and were mediately baptized by the Spirit. Water baptism is not a means to Salvation.
Matt 28:19; Rom 6:1-7
