We are a Christ Centered Community of Prayerful Disciples Making Disciples
As a church, we are devoted to the central nature of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In every sermon, discipleship group, ministry opportunity, prayer gathering, and meeting, Grace Fellowship church is intently focused on making sure that Jesus, His life, death, and resurrection are not lost. We do not exist for our own success or for our own glory but only to bring our highest praise to Jesus for all that He is and all that He has done.
"...[the Father] has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to his people, who live in the light. For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins." Colossians 1:12b-14
At Grace Fellowship Church, we like to think of ourselves as family. We try to make every effort to make everyone who comes to our community feel warm and welcomed. Our welcome team and hospitality team work hard to make everyone feel seen and loved! Our Discipleship groups are designed to make everyone connected to the Body of Christ through studying Scripture, praying together, serving together, and spreading the light of Jesus to the world.
"Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples" John 13:35
As a church, we are dependent on our relationship with God. Because we rely on everything that He says He is in His Word, we have no where else that we turn to first than God. We seek to live lives that are enveloped in prayer and push us to even more dependence on God for our daily lives. Our Prayer Team is always ready to serve you on Sunday mornings and throughout the week. Our volunteers gather for prayer before serving, our discipleship groups pray during their gatherings and our pastors are always praying on behalf of their people.
"Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7
As a church we are dedicated to being both disciples and disciple makers. We want to be a community of believers who are following Jesus, who is our mentor, friend, Lord, and King. Our lives are centered around becoming like Jesus and maturing in every way so that the world will see that we belong to Jesus no matter what.
Not only do we want to become good followers and mature disciples of Christ but we also want to be disciple makers. We want to let everyone know about Jesus and give them the opportunity to see Jesus for everything that He is. We want to be proclaimers of the truth and people who value multiplicative disciple making.
Not only do we want to make new disciples but we want them to grow deep roots in their faith and make Jesus an ever growing focus in their lives. We are indeed called to be disciples who make disciples.
"So we tell others about Christ, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all the wisdom God has given us. We want to present them to God, perfect in their relationship to Christ. That’s why I work and struggle so hard, depending on Christ’s mighty power that works within me." Colossians 1:28-29
